GREAT RACE, the ultimate automotive adventure is proud to celebrate its 25th Anniversary in 2007. GREAT AMERICAN RACE 2007, presented by Interstate Batteries is scheduled from June 30 – July 14, 2007. Whether you are Racer, Fan, or Sponsor, we’d like to invite you to join us for this milestone Great Race.
As GREAT RACE begins its next 25 years of competition, we will introduce a number of new initiatives including:
1. GREAT RACE East and West; (2) one-week races held during GREAT AMERICAN RACE 2007.
2. The first coast-to-coast competition for Muscle Cars and Hot Rods (manufactured as late as 1969).
3. The first ever coast-to-coast competition for Hybrid/Alt. Fuel vehicles competing in the Technology Division.
There are nearly as many ways to participate in GREAT AMERICAN RACE 2007, as there are reasons to compete. As a Racer in the 25th anniversary GREAT RACE, you can drive a piece of automotive history in the Classic Division. Or make history in the Technology Division, the first coast-to-coast competition designed to showcase these technologies as reliable daily transportation.
