Tour of Flanders Historic Rally

The Tour of Flanders 2006 (in Flemish: Omloop van Vlaanderen) was already the 5th edition of the Historic event. The modern rally exist already since 1959 and is one of the oldest rallies in Belgium. The rally take place in Roeselare (15 km from Ypres). The Historic event counts already 3 years for the Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship. So every year we have a lot of British and Irish team who come over to Roeselare. Last year we had 80 entries for the Historic Rally. The timing of the Historic event:
- recce on Thursday and Friday
- scruteneering on Friday afternoon
- starting on Saturday around 9.30 AM for 12 special stages (approx. 100 km SS)
- staring on Sunday around 8.00 AM for 10 special stages (approx. 80 km SS)
The end of the rally is planned around 4.00 PM to allow the British teams to return on Sunday. From Roeselare to the ferry in Calais it take approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes.
