Classic Endurance Racing - 1000 Km of Algarve

Since 2004, Classic Endurance Racing brings back the Endurance great hours. Run within the Le Mans Series calendar, this series is a splendid evocation of motoring golden age, with a fantastic grid bringing together classic cars from 1966 to 1979.

There are five rounds during which the more prestigious European circuits can revive their own history. Legendary Prototypes – Matra 660, Porsche 908, Lola T70 – and highly competitive GT cars –Ferrari 275 GTB, Ford GT40, BMW M1- can fight again on their feats tracks, in gentlemen drivers hands including those of renowned racing drivers as Gerard Larrousse, Jean-Claude Andruet or Martin Birrane.

Classic Endurance Racing quickly became one of the most famous series in Europe with, in 2008, more than 40 cars for each grid!
