Starting from 2008 the Mille Miglia has been handed over for five years to a new organisation consisting of three highly specialised companies:
MAC Events, Meet Comunicazione e Sanremorally.
The goal is to make the most of an event which is the only one of its kind anywhere in the world; make it even more unique by focusing on its own traditions, values and identity.
Its departure and arrival in Brescia, the effort and impassioned competitiveness of its participants, the much-waited appointment with Rome, the enthusiasm of the cities it passes through and the fervour of the crowds lining the streets.
Finally, there is a desire to give this extraordinary event all the attention it deserves, to ensure that the attention given to the people, cars, excitement and places of the Mille Miglia continues to grow.
In Italy, and around the world, the heart of the Freccia Rossa will beat even faster.

MILLE MIGLIA/ITALIAN LAKES TOUR May 12th-22nd.
11 day tour,(with 7 day tour option), to watch the Mille Miglia historic re-run which starts and finishes in Brescia.Our tour starts in Villefranche next to Monaco,(participants have the option to join us on our Monaco Historic Grang Prix tour which precedes this tour and do the two tours back to back. Our first day route traverses the Italian Riviera coastline to Portofino where we stop overnight.From here we travel on scenic country roads to Maranello the home of Ferrari where we visit the stunning Galleria Ferrari museum.We then drive up to Lake Garda where we spend the next 5 nights in our 4* hotel overlooking the lake.Over the next 5 days we watch the start and finish of the Mille Miglia,spend a day driving around Lake Garda and on Sunday drive over the Stelvio Pass voted Europe's best driving road by Clarkson and pals.After the weekend our tour visits the other Italian lakes including Lakes Iseo,Como,Lugano,Maggiore and Orto.
