The motor race had its beginning in 1956 and was instituted by the Padua "Automobile Club" to commemorate the young driver of promise Mario Dalla Favera, who tragically died in an accident during a race. At that time the Dalla Favera Cup was considered the Italian "Montecarlo" and, from then on, it always came up to the full expectations of snowy roads' drivers who regularly make the most of it. A new road will be marked out this year, passing through hitherto unknown locations achievable by highly likely snowy secondary routes.
