For 60.000 visitors from around the world, the beginning on Friday takes off with a unique race: The AvD-Historic-Marathon on the legendary Nordschleife and the Grand-Prix track restarts once again the long distance racing tradition of the Nürburgring. Upon request of the many competitors, the AvD-Historic-Marathon will this time be extended half an hour to four hours and therefore be even more attractive. The racing time of the Nürburgring Trophy for young GT's and touring cars, built 1966 – 1971, which runs parallel, will be extended to three and a half hours.
