We remind you that, in the Sporting Catego... moreThe 10th Mercedes Benz Historic Acropolis Rally turns out to be a big draw for both friends and fans of the classic historic cars as it counts 161 entries, 63 in the Sporting and 98 in the Regularity Categories. We remind you that, in the Sporting Category, the two days on asphalt and a single day on gravel count as two individual races in the FIA Historic Rally Championship, and crews can participate on either one or both legs. Thus, from the overall participations, 55 crews will compete on asphalt and 58 on gravel. This year’s rally has also many international participants, including previous year’s winners such as Jari Laaksonen – Jari Kristeri (winners in ’04 and ’05) with a Mazda RX7 Rally, as well as Marco Bianchini – Emanuele Baldaccini (winners in ’07 and ’08) with a Lancia 037.
