Two years ago, Cox Corporated, favoured A.C.O's & Peter Auto's partner in Japan for a couple years now, announced that “Le Mans Classic Japan“ would be held in Japan with the cooperation of Jean-Claude Plassart, A.C.O Chairman and Patrick Peter. At the first “Le Mans Classic Japan” (LMCJ) held on October 29th and 30th, 2005, although the first event of its kind here in Japan, we had 129 representatives from 54 media and around 21,500 visitors.

This elegant and impressive event met with a positive response from the media, participants, spectators and automotive companies. A great success! This achievement was in the tradition of the history of the 24-hours of Le Mans and of the success of the of Le Mans Classic first editions.

The second “Le Mans Classic Japan” (LMCJ) will be held on November 10th and 11th on the Fuji Speedway which lies at the bottom of Mt. Fuji, widely regarded as the symbol of Japan. This project pays tribute to over 80 years of Le Mans history and will be held among the world’s highest mountains.
